This year's Presidents' Day Tournament was a bitch.  No on-site RV parking, constant hardware problems, the appearance of the worst Peas bug to-date (now fixed), and many other things that are finally starting to fade from my memory.  Despite the problems, thanks to the people mentioned in the Thank You's section, and the spirit of the 86 players that attended, this year's Presidents' Day tournament was, I think, a success.

Chatter has already started regarding plans for next year.  Will we have it at the same place?  Will it be in Stockton?  Modesto?  Sacramento?  Will it move out of state?   Do we need more boards? (yes)  Should we change the format?  Are Lorraine and I insane enough to do it again?

The general consensus is that this tournament has the potential to grow and continue to attract out-of-staters, and that without it, shuffleboard in Northern California will suffer a severe blow.

We will continue to discuss and explore our options and keep you informed as to any plans or decisions made in coming months.

THANK YOU to all of the shufflers and shuffler family members that joined us.

Sincerely,

Eddie Brayman
