It's About Time

It's About Time is a Personal Information Manager. The main window is a calendar, depicted below. The user is able to customize the appearance of the calendar in a variety of ways (backgrounds, text, pictures, etc).

It's About Time is loaded with handy features, but perhaps the most important is its ability to "understand" what you type. The program allows you to generate customized data bases, from phone numbers to reminders to medical or financial information. Instead of entering data into separate entry screens, the user is provided with a generic "Quick Entry" window. There the user can enter an appointment, a phone number, or any other piece of information. It's About Time will automatically file the information in the appropriate places, whether it be a record in a specific database or a time slot in a day in the calendar. In the example below, the entry will be added to the "reminder" database, the medical database, the appropriate day of the calendar, and if desired, an alarm will automatically be set. As with almost all typed in entries in the program, voice annotations may be added.

Periodic or single alarms can also be set in the Alarm Clock window (below). The interface provides a variety of ways to quickly and simply set an alarm.

Users can easily create custom lists. Information is entered into these lists either directly or via the Quick Entry window described above. Below is a sample of a simple Phone List.

As previously mentioned, users have substantial control over the appearance of the calendar window. The Preferences window below demonstrates the interface used to customize your calendar.

It's About Time allows you to not only mark holidays, birthdays, and other special days in your calendar, but also, the ability to do so with animated icons. Animated icons are created using the Icon Editor depicted below.

It's About Time includes lots of features not described here, but one of the more interesting ones worth mentioning is the automatic voice recorder. The Voice Activation Preferences window shown below allows the user to active this feature. The user is able to tell the program to automatically begin voice recording when your voice reaches a specific loudness level. Automatic voice annotations are stored in the day and time slot of the calendar reflecting the day/time the annotation was added.
