3/1/00 ­ Present.................HearMe..................Sr. Software Developer

Developed the Mac version of HearMe's VoiceCreator (tm) product. VoiceCreator is a voice/chat program that supports voice chat rooms, moderated chat sessions, recording and playback of voice messages, and the ability to access regular phone lines. VoiceCreator is offered as an application as well as a plug-in (Netscape, IE, etc). Company and product details may be found at the HearMe website.

3/1/99 ­ 2/1/00.................Navis LLC..................Sr. Software Developer

Working on various aspects of Navis' SPARCS workstation, a Mac and PC based application for the management, planning, and control for container terminals and shipping lines.

6/1/98 ­ 12/12/98...............Hyseq, Inc....................Bioinformatics Software Developer

Developed tools for a genetic sequencing lab. Software is built predominantly on Powerplant, and supports Sybase and Open Transport. Also developed a gene project management package, completely written in JAVA.

2/95 - 6/1/98......................Suzetti Software..........President/Consultant

9/97-5/1/98 Contract with Acuson (Mt. View). Technical lead of group implmenting software to drive and configure Ultrasound machines. Coding included screen generator, database management, and networking of medical and patient information.

5/97-9/97 Contract with MediaLive (San Jose) involving implementation of front ends for web browsers using Spyglass code. Main project involved a browser u/i for hotel chains in Europe.

3/95-5/97 Developed 4 shareware applications including It's About Time and Alley 19, a bowling arcade game that runs on Mac's and PC's. Alley 19 is published by Starplay Productions (see www.starplay.com for a demo.)

7/93 - 2/95.......................Sunburst Communications, Inc......... Software Development

Managed a group of 12 in the Los Altos branch office of Sunburst Communications, a New York based developer of educational software. Duties included tracking and scheduling of 5-10 concurrent projects, tutoring, personnel management, reviews, etc. Personally developed Media Collage, a multimedia authoring tool for students.

2/92 - 6/93.......................ShareVision Technology, Inc.................Sr. Software Engineer

Designed and developed OnSight, a videophone application for the Macintosh. OnSight includes video conferencing, shared whiteboards, 3rd party application sharing, phonebook management, record/playback, and other features that support point to point teleconferencing over standard phone lines (POTS). The package was released in March of 1993 and is now sold by Creative Labs.

3/91 - 2/92........................Suzetti Software......................................Software Engineer

Developed KeyWords, an animated typing tutor for the Mac, published by Humanities Software, Inc. Also developed StatExplorer, a spreadsheet/statistics application, published by Scot, Foresman. Both products are sold directly to schools.

6/89 - 3/91.......................Interactive Solutions, Inc. .................VP Research & Development

Developed a multimedia presentation application for the Mac. The program, OnStage, features complete paint tools, animation, video, and sound capabilities. A visual programming language allows the user to construct complex interactive presentations.

8/87 - 6/89.....................3Com Corporation...............................Project Leader/Programmer

Created prototypes for 3Com's next generation networking software under OS/2, Presentation Manager, and Windows. Created a Hypercard like programming environment to allow non-programmers to easily create customized network/email environments.

1/86 - 8/87......................IntelliGenetics ........................Director of Software Development

Responsible for all facets of design, implementation, and maintenance of molecular biology software tools. Managed a group of 10 programmers. Responsible for project management and scheduling of three large projects. Instructed classes in C++ and software architecture design. Involved in all facets of development, marketing, and distribution of PC/Gene, a PC based program for analysis of DNA and protein sequences. Instrumental in the negotiations and acquisition of a 16 million dollar contract with the National Institute of Health to distribute GENBANK, a world-wide distributed database of molecular sequences.

6/80 - 1/86.....................Useable Software, Inc. ............President/Consultant

Designed and implemented various parts of the IBM PC program, Homebase. The program included database, communications, DOS shell, calendar, word processing, and calculator applications and was published by Amber Systems, Inc.

Designed and wrote software to control a blood analyzing unit. The system included an MS DOS shell that provided multitasking for up to 16 time critical processes. The software was sold by Syva of Palo Alto.

Developed a data encryption and security system for a voice synthesis system on the IBM PC for Logical Business Machines.

Developed VisiGraph ///, a spreadsheet/business graphics program, and Wrap Run, a lease analysis program for the PC.

Developed numerous other products from sophisticated financial and accounting packages to business graphics and animation packages. Clients included Kidder Peabody, Chemical Bank, Popular Mechanics Magazine, NBC, and Visicorp.
